CrackStix is a hot-applied, preformed crack sealing material that has revolutionised crack repairs around the world.

Technology Breakthrough! Now for the first time, you can can get contractor type results in 3 easy steps. CrackStix come in one multipurpose size and are user friendly, ready to use. CrackStix are flexible and can be shaped to fit the repair. The rubberised compound melts instantly and cures quickly. The multi-purpose formula can be used on both asphalt and concrete pavements.

The system is easy to apply in just 3 simple steps:
  1. Clean the crack with a hand broom removing any large deposits and ensuring the crack is dry.
  2. Cut the desired length of CrackStix and pack it into the crack
  3. Using a propane torch (or any type of flame) evenly heat the CrackStix until it melts and liquefies, filling all the voids of the crack.
CrackStix will cool in minutes leaving a neat, water-proof seal in place.

The advantages of CrackStix are many. Some of them are:

  • Hot applied is ALWAYS best. Cold fill crack sealants don’t fill every void. CrackStix melt and create a complete seal.
  • Rubberised. If the crack or joint moves, CrackStix moves with it to maintain the integrity of the seal.
  • Good value. Cut and use only as much material as needed with zero waste.
  • Convenient. CrackStix comes in small pales of 47m or 39m and easily fits on the back of any work truck. Using contractors and large volume kettles isn’t cost effective for jobs less than 50m. CrackStix lets your own crew seal immediately on site for a fraction of the price.
  • Safe. With such a simple system, crews require minimal training and the risk OH&S related injuries are minimised compared to chemical and emulsion based systems.
Lastly, and most importantly, we use our own product and back it 100%. We wouldn’t sell it otherwise. All NRS crack sealing and line marking crews carry CrackStix with them wherever they go.
